DAY 14-UESI PRAYER FORTNIGHT, Saturday, 1st October 2016
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
(2 Timothy 2:15)
Friends,
Thrust of the year for 2016-17 is : SPIRITUAL RENEWAL THROUGH INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY. Our DJ Pledge 4 states “That we will vouch for the utter reliability of the 66 books of the Bible for the entire period of our future existence, and will sincerely make efforts to study the entire Scripture in order to capture God’s big picture for humankind, honestly engaging the Scripture for all walks of life, so that our lives will be transformed and be made part of His Story” This is yet another affirmation of our commitment to improve Scripture engagement in our day to day life . O how I wonder if each of our students and graduates are well-filled with the Scripture, that for every life situation they may have courage stemming up from there to face it (and to transform it).
So today let us pray for our THRUST AREA 2016-17 that God may renew us, revive us, that each of our students, and graduate members will engross and enjoy studying God’s Word inductively, and thus becoming agents of revival and transformation through the message of the Scriptures.
