SAHAYATHRA: A Fable of Following Your Dream

The regional leadership training camp for youth leaders from Don Bosco youth centres in Kerala was held on 6–7 September at Don Bosco College, Bathery. Organized by Don Bosco Youth Services, Kerala in collaboration with SIGHT Wayanad, the camp brought together 110 participants for two days of reflection, skill-building, and fellowship.

The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB, Provincial, who emphasized the importance of mutual accompaniment. Sessions by Fr. Dominic Kaniyantharayil SDB on leadership, and healing experiences guided by Sri Reshmi of the Koottu community, offered participants both practical skills and personal renewal. Music, trekking to Chethalayam forest, and a visit to Edakkal Caves added moments of joy, bonding, and adventure.

Gratitude was extended to the Provincial, delegates, the Don Bosco Bathery community, and the DBYS Kerala team for their dedicated efforts. The camp concluded with participants returning enriched, inspired, and ready to pursue their dreams with renewed purpose.
