The Hospital Building approximately existing areas ( Eye Care Unit Block which covers 35000 sq ft. which has been built by the generous donation from our well wisher. At the end of this year 2012-13 we conducted more than 1700 operations. This was not envisaged by us but this was possible only because of the hard work put in by all the staff members including doctors. The rapid growth has put the whole system in stress. The infrastructure is falling short considerably and we have started planning for extension of the hospital. However, Govt, system takes its own time to move and so the big construction which we have finished nearly two years and expansion of new drawing for construction behind the hospital are ready and some funds are also ear marked for that (however, we will need huge amount of funding for complete construction of 28000 sq. area). At the same time, we are debating among ourselves that we have a larger space and need to create a campus - although we don't have funds for that nor any piece of land is available in the vicinity of the town. How to proceed is a dilemma at this moment. . Dr.SK Raman ( A young devotee MS Doctor will start going to naxalites effected area 4 days in a month. This will increase referrals for his. Retina surgical work. Monthly two visit in Khunti SGVS . Paediatric ophthalmologists 2 days in every month. Dr. SK Raman who is working with us from January . 2013 Minda Groups / DAV and ArcelorMittal. And Integrated Development Plan government of India organised 6 camps under their CSR activity in ARKI, Rania eye camp around this time of the year. They have implanted our hospital for providing eye care services to their employees and also requested us to run once a week OPD in their hospital. MOU etc.will be signed now. At the suggestion of Tribal Department, we conducted six diagnostic eye camps in Jaipur. Sode. Khatnga, Birbanki, Bakashpur , Marcha and Gosaidih of Khunti and Ranchi District . Towards the end of the month, they requested us to conduct four more camps BUT we were able to conduct only

School screening programme in two villages around Murhu, Torpa and Arki - their service area. Actual service delivery in CBR programme started from Nov. 2012. are convinced that we can send needy students to this place. The whole team visited Surendranagar where they witnessed cooking competition of blind Boy and also attended group wedding of blind girls. One of our well wishers – Dadhichi Yuwa Manch from Ranchi distributed clothes to the poor and needy people around Bandgam, and Arki
