Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Concept Note Project Point Odisha
Under the vision of building a drug-free and empowered India, Project Point, Odisha proposes an integrated grassroots strategy by connecting youth development, social reform, and policy advocacy.

1. Reformation of Village-Level Youth Clubs (Under My Bharat)
Project Point aims to revive and strengthen youth clubs at the village level under the My Bharat initiative. These clubs will act as:

Awareness hubs for anti-drug campaigns

Platforms for sports, culture, and leadership development

Community centers promoting healthy and productive lifestyles

This will ensure that rural youth are engaged, informed, and empowered to stay away from substance abuse.

2. Creation of a Dedicated Youth Cadre – “Sankalpi Sangram”
A special cadre named “Sankalpi Sangram” will be developed, where:

Every committed youth will adopt the identity “Sankalpi” as a badge of responsibility

These youth will act as grassroots warriors against drug abuse

They will lead campaigns, peer counseling, and awareness drives

This movement will create a sense of pride, discipline, and mission among youth.

3. Policy Advocacy & Multi-Departmental Convergence
To ensure long-term impact, Project Point will work on:

Policy advocacy for youth welfare and anti-drug measures

Collaboration with departments like:

Health & Family Welfare

Social Security

Sports & Youth Services

Tourism

This convergence will help in holistic youth development, rehabilitation, and livelihood opportunities, reducing the root causes of addiction.

Core Message / Slogan
“Ek Nasha – Nasha ke Khilaf”
(One Addiction – Against Addiction)

This slogan reflects the spirit that youth should be addicted only to nation-building, growth, and positive change, not harmful substances.

Conclusion
Through this three-fold strategy—Youth Club Reformation, Sankalpi Sangram Cadre, and Policy Advocacy—Project Point Odisha envisions creating a mass youth movement that transforms villages into drug-free, vibrant, and progressive communities, contributing to the dream of a Viksit Bharat.
