All Ollo Students’ Union Holds Annual Conference cm Oath-Taking Ceremony at Lazu

Lazu, Arunachal Pradesh, January 28th, 2026: The All Ollo Students’ Union (AOSU) successfully organized its Annual Conference cm Oath-Taking Ceremony today at the Inspection Bungalow (IB), Lazu.

The programme was graced by the presence of Shri Jentoi Moinyak, President of the All Ollo Welfare Association (AOWA), who attended as the Chief Guest, and Shri Lablin Lowang, who joined as the Guest of Honour.
The event witnessed the formal induction of the newly selected executive members.
During the ceremony, outgoing President Shri Nali Kholia Rangsong formally handed over the charge to the newly appointed leadership.

Shri Nali Pangtok assumed office as the President, while Shri Wango Lowang took charge as the General Secretary of All Ollo Students' Union (AOSU) for the session 2026–2029.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Shri Jentoi Moinyak emphasized the vital role of education in shaping the future of youth. He encouraged the union to undertake awareness and advocacy programmes in schools and villages to promote education and to work towards bridging existing gaps in educational access and resources.
Guest of Honour Shri Lablin Lowang spoke on the alarming issue of drug abuse, highlighting its devastating impact on society and the younger generation. He called for collective efforts to combat substance abuse and urged students to adopt healthy and positive lifestyles.

The programme was also attended by several dignitaries, including Shri Wangjen Bangsia, President of the Nocte Students’ Union; Shri Ropong Kitnya President of the All Tutsa Students’ Union; Shri Ayang Hondik, then Assistant General Secretary of All Arunachal Pradesh Student's Union (AAPSU) and General Secretary of All Tirap District Students Union (ATDSU); and Shri Donglin Tangdong, Office Secretary of ATDSU.

Former AOSU Presidents Shri Kamshom Teppa and Shri Wangnen Lampa, along with distinguished teachers, students and executive members, were also present.

The All Ollo Students' Union reiterated its commitment to strive for the students community.

*The All Ollo Students' Union (AOSU)* is turning a new page in student leadership as the current tenure comes to a close, paving the way for a *Fresh Executive Body* drawn from the vibrant Ollo student community. *Nomination forms will be available from 27 December 2025 to 10 January 2026*, giving aspiring leaders a crucial window to step forward and claim their role in shaping the union’s next chapter.

From President to the IPR Secretary and other key portfolios, the new team will carry the responsibility of strengthening democratic functioning, defending student rights and amplifying Ollo voices from Lazu to the wider Tirap district and the whole state.

This is a call to every committed Ollo student—graduates and undergraduates alike—to move from the audience to the frontline and build an AOSU that is more inclusive, accountable and future‑ready. All Ollo Students' Union extends a huge applause and congratulations to Ms. Yamyum Khocha, hailing from the Ollo community, Tirap district, for her remarkable feat by securing the 1st position in the Senior Category (Yoga) at the 1st Boken Ete State-Level Yogasana Sports Championship, the event held from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, at the Marto Kamdak Multipurpose Hall in Basar, Leparada, Organized by the Arunachal Yogasana Sports Association (AYSA) in collaboration with Yogasana Bharat.

The championship showcased exceptional talent from across Arunachal Pradesh, with participants competing in various categories, demonstrating precision and flexibility.
Ms. Khocha’s stellar performance in the senior category stood out earning her accolades for her skill, dedication and mastery of Yogasana.

Her victory is a proud moment for the Ollo community and Tirap district reflecting her hard work and commitment to the sport.

"Laju Village Rallies Together to Combat Drug Abuse with Powerful Community Awareness Program"

Lazu, September 18, 2025.

In a powerful display of unity, the residents of Lazu Village gathered to participate in an awareness program on drug abuse, organized by the Chief Council, Panchayat members, and the Lazu Hanyu Students' Union (LHSU) on September 18, 2025.
The event saw an overwhelming turnout, with the entire village coming together to voice their collective stance against drug peddling.
The program aimed to educate the community about the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on individuals, families, and society. Through discussions, presentations, and testimonials, villagers gained a deeper understanding of the issue and the importance of working together to combat it.
In a show of solidarity, the villagers issued a stern warning to anyone involved in drug peddling, making it clear that such activities would not be tolerated in their community. The united front presented by the villagers sends a strong message that Laju Village is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all its residents.

The Chief Council, Panchayat members, and LHSU are to be commended for their efforts in organizing this awareness program and mobilizing the community to take a stand against drug abuse. AOSU Organizes Felicitation-Cum-Career Counselling Programme for Class X & XII Students

Lazu, 11 August 2025 – The All Ollo Students’ Union (AOSU) successfully organized a Felicitation-Cum-Career Counselling Programme on 11 August 2025 at the Inspection Bungalow, Lazu. The event was dedicated to celebrating the academic achievements of Class X and XII students from the Ollo community while equipping them with essential career guidance for their future endeavors.

The programme began with a warm welcome for the guests, setting an inspiring tone for the day.

The event was graced by Shri N.L. Naam, Assistant Commissioner, Lazu Circle, who delivered the keynote address. He underscored the paramount importance of education, urging students to stay focused and committed to their academic and personal growth. Shri Naam expressed strong confidence in the potential of Ollo students, encouraging them to pursue their goals with consistency, which he described as the key to success in today’s competitive world.

The Guest of Honour, Adv. Wennong Joseph Sawen, Vice President (Admin), All Tirap District Students’ Union (ATDSU), advised students to set clear career objectives early in life. He stressed the need for dedication and strategic planning, whether aiming for competitive examinations like the Civil Services or other professional careers. His words inspired the audience to approach their ambitions with clarity and determination.

Adding to the motivational spirit of the programme, Dr. Yumnyang Tazin—the first MBBS from the Ollo belt—delivered an impactful address. Quoting, “All power is within you; you can do anything and everything—just believe,” Dr. Tazin highlighted the transformative power of self-belief, hard work, and a clear roadmap toward success. His message instilled confidence in the students to dream big and work relentlessly toward their aspirations.

In his speech, Shri Nali Kholia Rangsong, President of AOSU, expressed the Union’s pride in hosting the event. He urged students to imbibe the lessons shared by the dignitaries and reaffirmed AOSU’s commitment to empowering the youth of the Ollo community through education and personal development initiatives.

The felicitation ceremony was a proud moment for the community.

Ms. Potu Ranto of Lazu village was honored as the overall topper of Class X with an impressive 92.4%.

Mr. Wango Halang of Chinhan village secured the overall topper position for Class XII with an outstanding 96%.

Both students were presented with awards by the AOSU team, who extended their heartfelt congratulations and wished them continued success, inspiring their peers to aim high.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Shri Nali Pangtok, Convenor of AOSU and Organising Chairman. He expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and supporters for making the event a resounding success.
