ry to grow up the population for wildlife. To prevent our biological balance we must conserve the Wildlife. We also Conduct Awareness Program/Workshop on Wildlife Conservation at even interior villages, Schools, Local Fair etc. We project Slide Show & try to make understand the people the need of Wildlife, How we can protect them, how we can keep distance from wildlife, etc. We basically use our own member's contribution..... Rather then we have no source of Fund

Our Story

Kharagpur Wildlife & Environments Conservation Society (KWECS) is a registered (Regd. No - S/2L/47415(WB) & UID No of India Govt. – WB/2018/0203637) non profitable, voluntary organization, working for the promotion of nature conservation, environment protection and social welfare for sustainable and equitable development. Over the last few years we have been consistently working to preserve environment and to wildlife protection. No conservation can be success without the support of people. Keeping this objective in mind, we are continuing to raise consciousness among the people. What is the need of wildlife & environmental conservation? How to live with animals? etc. It is trying to convince people of every level of society through our different activities. We also work for the society development and run capacity buildup programs at interior villages’ level. With the overall development of the environment, we want to move ahead with the dream to build a better world for the next generation.

We are working on wildlife and environment conservational issues in Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, Jhargram and Purulia district and also have attached with the several Forest Division under Department of Forest, W.B. for the same.

Our endeavors included,
