Reading Day Celebration at KARD Hall, Kalluvathukkal

Reading Day was celebrated at the KARD Hall, Kalluvathukkal. The programme was inaugurated by KARD Secretary Smt. Sreeja R, who distributed books as part of the celebration.

As part of Reading Day observance, floral tribute was offered to the portrait of Sri. P. N. Panicker sir, remembering his valuable contributions to the library movement and his efforts in promoting the culture of reading.

The programme highlighted the importance of reading and encouraged everyone to develop the habit of reading and enrich their knowledge through books.

Farewell Celebration Conducted for the First Batch of Guest Service Executive – Front Office under DDU-GKY 2.0

The farewell celebration for the first batch of Guest Service Executive – Front Office trainees under the DDU-GKY 2.0 Project was successfully conducted at KARD Skill Academy, Kadakkal.
We are proud to announce that all the students of this batch successfully completed the training and secured placements in various companies, marking a proud achievement for Kerala Association for Rural Development (KARD).
The program was attended by all staff members and graced by the presence of KARD Chairman Dr. Nadakkal Sasi, who congratulated the trainees for their dedication and achievement. The event became more colorful with cultural programs, performances, and memorable moments shared by the trainees and faculty members.

As the very first batch under DDU-GKY 2.0, this achievement marks an important milestone in KARD’s journey of empowering youth through skill development and employment opportunities.

Guest Service Executive trainees under the DDU-GKY project implemented by Kerala Association for Rural Development at KARD Skill Academy, Kadakkal, participated in an Industrial Visit at Hindustan Beach Retreat, Varkala.
