Blessed to have Diksharthi family as our 1st customers. Some Jains are changing the way of looking at Jeevdaya in modern times.

These chairs/ benches/ tables were recently bought by Mehta family in Sanchore. Made from waste plastic collected from forests around my birth place Bisalpur (to ). Each kilogram contains approx 1000 pieces (wrappers, milk pouches, etc.) which would otherwise harm animals and pollute forests, mountains & rivers. The chairs are 15 kg and the bench is 30 kg and it's very strong, and may last hundreds of years.

🌿 Join the 2nd Eco Volunteers’ Gathering! 🌿

Inspired by Sonam Wangchuk & Vanvadi, ‘dJED Foundation’ has been transforming Chinchwadi tribal Village near Neral/Karjat into an ideal village, as envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi 🌱.

Over the past 3-4 years, we’ve focused on watershed🌊 development, planted over 1,000 trees of 100+ varieties, & documented 300+ endemic flora & fauna of the Sahyadris.🏔️

💼 We’ve created local employment opportunities and turned some villagers into eco-edu entrepreneurs.

Our Aadi Maanav Academy (AMA), built from sustainable materials, serves as a volunteer 👨‍🌾 & community center👨🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾, while also providing education & sports training
to children 🏫.

As we expand our work to nearby villages, we are looking for committed eco-volunteers eager to make a difference 🤝. You get to leverage our network, fund, know how and can also stay for free at AMA while learning by doing.

dJED Foundation provides primary education & sports training in tribal areas of Sahyadri & Satpuda. Most of these children don’t have enough clothes or footwear, neither books nor sport gears. Your surplus can be put to productive use!

Its your chance to make a difference and light up their lives! 🚴‍♂️📚👕⚽✏️

🌟 dJED Foundation invites all Friends of Nature to Volunteers’ Gathering at Aadi Maanav Academy! 🌟

Serve the nature & the community for 4-5 hours, while reflecting & learning by doing .

📅 Date: 29th June, 2024 Saturday

📍 Start: 10 am, close 5 pm (we will take 7:30 am CSMT - Khopoli local train to get down at Neral & take shared auto)
