এক বিশিষ্ট সূত্রে জানা গেছে যে আমাদের শ্রীভূমির শহরের স্টেট ব্যাংক অফ ইন্ডিয়া এর মেইন রোড শাখার নিকটবর্তী শিব মন্দিরের সম্মুখে কোন এক ব্যক্তি বোতলে পেট্রোল ভরে মন্দিরের সামনে থাকা কুকুরগুলির উপর ছিটিয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। তার এই ব্যবহারের কারণে যদি কোন পথচারী কুকুরের দ্বারা আহত বা আক্রান্ত হয় তাইলে সেই ঘটনার জন্য ওই ব্যক্তি সম্পূর্নরূপে দায়ী থাকবে। আমরা এই ঘটনা কে বা কারা করছে তার খবর নেওয়ার চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি। এই বিষয়ে আশ্রয় এর পক্ষ থেকে আমরা শ্রীভূমির মিউনিসিপ্যালিটি এর কর্তৃপক্ষকে ঘটনাটি জানিয়ে রেখেছি।
