🌍🏓 India Hosts World Table Tennis Day 2026 in Kapadvanj, Gujarat
A historic moment as India hosted the global flagship celebration of World Table Tennis Day 2026, marking 100 years of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). 🇮🇳✨
Centered around the theme “Health & Well-Being” and the slogan “Table Tennis Moves You,” the event highlighted how table tennis promotes fitness, mental wellness, and social inclusion.
The celebration brought together global leaders and icons including Petra Sörling, Vita Dani, Leandro Olvech, Adam Bobrow, and Sharath Kamal, along with the sport-for-development community.
Hosted in Kapadvanj, the event showcased the impact of the Smash Barriers programme, implemented by Kapadvanj Kelavani Mandal in partnership with Dani Sports Foundation, engaging communities through sport.
👥 Around 400 participants — including children, youth, families, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities — took part in inclusive activities, exhibition matches, and cultural performances, celebrating unity and participation.
🏆 A proud moment for India as table tennis continues to connect communities and inspire healthier, more inclusive lifestyles.

🌸 Women’s Day Celebration 2026 🌸

We proudly celebrated Women’s Day with enthusiastic participation from six communities — Marvadivas, Shantinagar, Matariya, Gopalpura, Madarivas, and Nagri. A total of 89 parents joined the celebration, making the event vibrant, joyful, and meaningful.

This celebration was organized under the TT for Change Project, an initiative by the ITTF Foundation, implemented in collaboration with Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal (KKM) and Dani Sports Foundation (DSF).

The session was filled with energy and engagement, as parents actively participated in Table Tennis fun activities and art-based activities. Their enthusiasm and spirit truly made the event special.

💃✨ A memorable highlight was the cultural performances, where parents beautifully expressed their traditions through dance, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

We were honored to have Mr. Gopalbhai Shah, Secretary of Kapadwanj Kelavani Mandal, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added inspiration and significance to the celebration.
