The long meets, the DoSA office errands, setting up the boards, all the unreleased poster designs, all the hours spent deciding the fonts and finalising the captions, the Skribbl sessions and the Poker nights - the tenure had more in store for us than we had anticipated. As we hand over the reins to the next generation of Coordinators, it feels only right to look back at this tenure and appreciate some moments, big and small.
We would be lying if we said that all of it was easy. Spending hours planning an event, only to see it postponed again and again, was painful. Spending days solving a problem, only to run into another within a few hours, was frustrating. But all of it paid off in the end, when 600+ people gathered at New SAC, to celebrate this little sport we call Chess. The day we concluded the institute's first-ever FIDE-rated tournament will always be etched into our memories as one of the finest.
But more than the events, it was the people who made this tenure truly special. We honestly could not have asked for a better group of people to work with. From the start of a tenure as secretaries to the end of a tenure as coordinators, this Club has been like a family to all of us. We are grateful to have had a chance to contribute to the legacy this club stands for.
So here's to all the brilliancies and blunders 🙌. coordis - .007 .dwivedi_18 , it is now your move to make.
