In quest of their career or business dealings, the youth has been exposed to various pressures which has resulted in loss of ethical and moral values. This growing population of senior citizens is becoming victims of crime which is now recognized as an emerging social problem all over the world and especially in India One of the most important reasons for increasing crimes is birth of nuclear families which compels the senior citizens to depend on others for their medical, safety and social needs. In such adverse situations, it is becoming increasingly difficult to spare time for doing acts of public good or devote time for participation in philanthropic activities, Swami Shri Prakhar Ji Maharaj in his inimitable style has established the social charitable institution HOPE (HELPING OLD PEOPLE EVERYWHERE) in Kanpur, UP to provide the much needed services to a valuable but little thought of segment of society – the senior citizens. HOPE aims to render services to the senior citizens in their own residence to ensure their safety and stay attached to their family and home. It ensures that the relationship amongst the family remains healthy and intact. But in special cases where senior citizens are dying destitute, mentally re****ed, and homeless, our sister society Sewadham Ashram (Founded by Disciple of Swamiji, Shri sudhar Bhai Goyal ) will provide take due care of the senior citizens at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. Sewadham Ashram is a life time shelter home for many of these under privileged persons-where they can lead a life with dignity, till their last breath.
