When it comes to education and opportunities under UGC, we need to seriously rethink the cast based system. Policies meant to create fairness should not continue dividing young people into categories that keep old social lines alive.
Support in education should reach students who truly struggle — those facing financial hardship, lack of resources, or poor schooling access — regardless of their background. Real equality in universities means giving every hardworking student a fair chance based on need and merit.
Education should unite the next generation, not separate them before their future even begins. It’s time to move toward a system that empowers all deserving students equally.
