🏕️🌟✨ ROVER ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP 2026 – CAMPERS' MEET ✨🌟

On 21st June 2026, a memorable Campers' Meet was organized following the successful completion of the Rover Annual Summer Camp 2026. The gathering brought together all campers, leaders, and officials, providing an opportunity for participants to reconnect and share their experiences, cherished memories, and valuable lessons learned during the camp. The session was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and reflections on the adventures, challenges, and friendships that made the camp truly unforgettable. 🤝🏕️🌿📸

During the programme, the results of various camp competitions were announced. 🏆📸 B.B.D. Crew was recognized as the Best Crew for their outstanding teamwork and overall performance throughout the camp. In the Photography Competition, Shibasish Biswas secured the 1st Position, Sudipta Das achieved the 2nd Position, and Sumay Paul earned the 3rd Position.The Best Camp Reel title was awarded to Birsha Munda Crew for their creative presentation of camp experiences, while Priyanshu Das was recognized as the Best Camper for his exemplary participation, dedication, and Rover spirit. The programme concluded on a joyful note, celebrating the achievements, friendships, and unforgettable memories created during the camp. 🎊👏⚜️🌟

⚜️🏕️ SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATION IN TRAINING COURSES AT MADHUPUR 🏕️⚜️

From 11th June 2026 to 17th June 2026, members of South Group successfully participated in various training courses conducted at Madhupur. The programme provided valuable opportunities for participants to enhance their leadership abilities, scouting knowledge, and organizational skills through intensive training sessions and practical activities.

In the Basic Course for Rover Scout Leaders (RSL), Abhirup Nath, Sudipta Das, and Sujay Pal actively participated and successfully completed the training. The Advanced Course for Rover Scout Leaders (RSL) witnessed the participation of Ayan Bheduli and Sandip Chakraborty, who further strengthened their leadership and management skills through advanced-level training. Additionally, Priyanshu Banerjee, Sourav Baral, and Swarna Kanta Sinha successfully attended the Basic Course for Scout Masters (SM), gaining valuable knowledge and experience to guide and mentor scouts effectively.

The successful completion of these courses reflects the commitment of South Group towards leadership development, quality training, and the continuous growth of its members in the true spirit of Scouting and Guiding. 🌟🤝📚⚜️🏕️

🧘‍♂️🌿✨ INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION 2026 ✨🌿🧘‍♀️

On 21st June 2026, South Group proudly celebrated International Yoga Day with the enthusiastic participation of Cubs 🐾, Bulbuls 🐦, Scouts ⚜️, Guides 🍀, Rovers 🏕️, Rangers 🌸, and Unit Leaders 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫. The programme was organized to spread awareness about the importance of yoga in achieving physical fitness 💪, mental well-being 🧠, inner peace ☮️, and a healthy lifestyle 🌱.

The yoga session was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Nidhir Kr. Sil 👨‍⚕️🧘‍♂️, a respected ex member of South Group and a dedicated yoga instructor who has been associated with the group for many years. Under his guidance, participants performed various yoga asanas 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️, pranayama 🌬️, stretching exercises 🤸, and meditation practices 🕯️, learning valuable techniques to improve their overall health and well-being.

The celebration reflected this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing" 🌍💚, highlighting the role of yoga in promoting strength 💪, flexibility 🤸‍♂️, balance ⚖️, and wellness 🌿 at every stage of life. The event witnessed active participation, discipline, and enthusiasm from all sections, making it a truly inspiring and meaningful occasion. During Annual Summer Camp 2026 at Jogi Ghat, Sittong 🏞️, our Scouts of South Group, Kanchrapara ⚜️ successfully explored and trekked to Lepcha Falls 💦. The trail was challenging but our boys showed true Scout spirit ⚜️, teamwork 🤝, discipline 🫡, and courage 💪. They really enjoyed the adventure ⛰️, waterfall spray 💦, and nature 🌿. All participants are safe ✅ and back at camp ⛺. Proud of our Scouts ❤️

🏕️🌲⛰️ ROVER ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP 2026 ⛰️🌲🏕️

From 6th June to 10th June 2026, the Rover Section proudly participated in the Rover Annual Summer Camp at Chota Mangwa. Nestled amidst the mesmerizing hills, lush forests, and breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas, the camp provided an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, learning, friendship, and fun. 🌄🏔️🌿🍃✨

Throughout the five-day camp, the rovers enthusiastically engaged in a variety of exciting activities, including Backwoodsman by the riverside 🌊🔥, Pioneering Project Model Making 🪢⚒️🏗️, skill-development sessions 📚🎯, and team-building activities 🤝💪. Participants also enjoyed a refreshing Nature Hike 🚶‍♂️🌲🍀, trekked through beautiful forest trails 🌳🥾🏞️, and visited a local Buddhist Monastery 🛕🙏, where they experienced the serenity and cultural richness of the region.

The camp also featured several exciting competitions that showcased the creativity and talents of the rovers. Participants actively took part in a Photography Competition 📸🌄✨ and a Reel Making Competition 🎥🎬📱, capturing the beauty of nature and memorable moments of camp life. In addition, the rovers explored some of the most scenic destinations of the Darjeeling hills, including Lamahatta 🌲🌺, Tinchuley 🏔️☁️, picturesque tea gardens 🍃☕, and numerous viewpoints offering spectacular panoramic vistas 🌅📷✨.

The camp concluded on a high note with cherished memories ❤️📸, stronger bonds of friendship 🤝💖, enhanced scouting skills ⚜️🎯, and a renewed appreciation for nature 🌿🌍. The Rover Annual Summer Camp 2026 was truly a journey of adventure 🏕️, discovery 🔍, teamwork 🤜🤛, and personal growth 🌟, leaving every participant inspired and enriched. 🌈🔥⛰️🏞️🎒📸🎥🌿⚜️✨🎉💚💛❤️
