🌟🏕️ GRAND LOGO OPENING CEREMONY OF SUMMER ROVER CAMP 2026 🏕️🌟

On 31st May 2026, the Rover Section of South Group proudly organised the grand Logo Opening Ceremony of the upcoming Summer Camp for Rovers at the Scout Den of South Group with great enthusiasm and excitement. 🎉⚜️ The official camp logo, beautifully symbolising nature 🌿, hills ⛰️, adventure 🧭, camping 🏕️, and the true spirit of rovering, was formally revealed by Group Leader Scout Sri Kaushik Ghosh in the presence of respected unit leaders from different sections who visited the programme and encouraged the Rovers. 👏✨

On this memorable occasion, the official camp T-shirt 👕🔥 and camp songs 🎶🎤 were also inaugurated, filling the entire atmosphere with joy, unity, motivation, and camp spirit. 🌈🤝 The event became a moment of pride and inspiration for all the Rovers of South Group as it marked the official beginning of the preparations for the upcoming camp to be held at Chota Mangwa, Darjeeling. 🌄🌲 The programme concluded successfully with enthusiasm, brotherhood, teamwork, and the spirit of scouting and rovering shining brightly among all present. ⚜️❤️

Cub Section of South Group Hosts Grand Pack Meeting & Investiture Ceremony 2026🌟🎉🐺⚜️

The Cub Section of South Group successfully organised a grand and enthusiastic Pack Meeting and Investiture Ceremony on 22nd May 2026 📅 with the active participation of 24 Cubs 🐺✨ and 06 Cub Masters 👨‍🏫⚜️, making the event highly memorable 🌈🎊. The ceremony was graced by respected guests Sri Biswajit Paul, DC(HQ), Sri Chanchal Sarkar, ex DTC(S) and Sri Rabi Das, ex Member 🌟🙏, whose inspiring words motivated the young Cubs to uphold the ideals of Scouting with sincerity and dedication ⚜️🤝. During the programme, Cubs actively took part in various activities, interactions, and ceremonial proceedings 🎯📖🎤 that fostered teamwork 🤝, discipline 🫡, leadership 👑, confidence 💪, and the spirit of brotherhood ❤️. The Investiture Ceremony was a proud and emotional moment 🏅✨ as the Cubs took their promises with commitment and enthusiasm, stepping forward with responsibility and pride 🌟🐾. On 12/05/2026 📅, the Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers of South Group 👥 organised a Swachhata Awareness Programme and Cleanliness Drive at Railway Mixed Primary School 🏫 with 45 members 💪 participating actively. The programme began with a cleanliness drive 🧹 covering classrooms, corridors, playground, and surrounding areas to maintain a healthy and hygienic environment ✨, followed by an awareness lecture on Swachhata and personal hygiene 🧼📢 where members interacted with students 👧👦 and encouraged daily cleanliness habits. The drive was further extended to the nearby local area 🌱🚮 to spread awareness among residents about keeping surroundings clean and pollution-free. The programme was conducted successfully 🙌 and reflected the values of service, teamwork, discipline, and social responsibility 🤝🎯🌍 while creating awareness among students and the community towards a cleaner and healthier environment 💚.

🚀 Scouts & Guides Lead the Way for a Swachh Kanchrapara! 🧹💚

On 03/05/2026 📅, the Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers of South Group 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ conducted a Swachhata Awareness Programme and Cleanliness Drive 🧹✨ at Kanchrapara Railway Hospital 🏥 with the active participation of 35 members 👥🙌. The programme aimed to promote cleanliness 🧼, civic responsibility 🤝, and hygiene awareness 📢. The activity began with an awareness campaign using hand-made posters 🪧 and colourful banners 🎨 at the hospital premises, which effectively spread the message of maintaining clean surroundings 🌱✨. Following this, our members went shop-to-shop 🏪➡️🏪 to interact with local people, explain our motive 💬, and encourage them to keep their locality clean and litter-free 🚯💚. The initiative successfully combined practical action 🛠️ with awareness 📣, reinforcing the core values of discipline 🎯, teamwork 🤗, and service 🙌 among all participants while making a positive contribution towards a cleaner 🌍 and more responsible community 🌻.

On 02/05/2026 📅, the Rovers and Rangers of South Group 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ successfully organized a Swachhata Awareness Programme 🧹♻️ with the active participation of 25 members 👥🙌. The main objective 🎯 was to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility 🌍 through creative expression 🎨✨. The programme centered around a cartoon making activity ✏️🖌️ where participants designed impactful cartoons to spread awareness about hygiene, cleanliness in public spaces 🚯, and the ill effects of littering & improper waste disposal 🗑️. The activity encouraged everyone to think critically 🧠 and express strong social messages in a simple, engaging way 👀🗣️. The cartoons served as powerful visual tools 📢 to communicate the importance of Swachhata in a relatable format. 🌻🌷SWACHHATA AWARENESS PROGRAMME AND CLEANLINESS DRIVE 🧹🌿♻️✨ Date :- 27/04/2026 📅🗓️ The Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers of South Group conducted a Swachhata Awareness Programme with active participation of 55 members 👥🙌, aiming to promote cleanliness, civic responsibility, and hygiene awareness in public areas, especially within railway premises 🚉🌍. The activity began with a cleanliness drive 🧹♻️ at the Kanchrapara Workshop area, where all participants actively collected garbage 🗑️🚮, segregated waste, and ensured proper disposal of plastic and other materials 🚫🧴, visibly improving the surroundings ✨🌿 and encouraging a sense of responsibility among the public. The event was graced by Sri S. K. Chattopadhyay, Dy. CPO/KPA & DCC/KPA. Following the drive, the Guide section presented a nukkad natak 🎭🎤 focusing on railway awareness 🚉📢, highlighting the importance of cleanliness, safety rules, and responsible behavior in railway areas through an engaging and relatable performance 👏🎬 that effectively attracted public attention. On 23rd April 2026 📅, the Rovers and Rangers of South Group successfully organized a Swachhata Awareness Programme with active participation of 30 members 👥🙌 The event began with a poster-making competition 🎨🪧 on the theme “Swachhata in Railways” 🚉🌍, where participants showcased creative ideas on cleanliness, waste disposal, and civic responsibility through impactful designs and slogans. 🌍✨ EARTH DAY CELEBRATION – SOUTH GROUP 🌍✨

On 22nd April 2026, South Group celebrated Earth Day with great zeal and active involvement of all sections 🐻🐦⚜️🧭🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ A total of 55 participants came together, showcasing true unity, teamwork, and environmental commitment 🌿💚 The programme began with a meaningful tree plantation drive 🌱 where Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, and Rangers enthusiastically planted saplings, spreading the message of a greener and healthier future 🌳 Next, a vibrant poster-making activity 🎨 was held, allowing participants to express their concern for Mother Earth through colorful designs and powerful slogans that inspired awareness 🌍✍️ The event took a thoughtful turn as all electrical lights were switched off 💡❌ and candles were lit 🕯️ to promote energy conservation. In the warm glow, members shared insightful messages about Earth Day using their posters, educating and motivating everyone ✨ Overall, the celebration was a memorable and impactful experience that strengthened our bond, raised environmental awareness, and renewed our collective duty to protect our planet 🌎💚🤝
