Among Indian Big Four snakes Russell’s viper (Daboia russelii) is also one among that.
Snakes being cold blooded creatures they always look for warn places to keep their body warm and one such common place they end up is on the “Busy Tar Roads” and they end up getting up killed like this. Very sad to see such incidences! Night driving is a responsible thing everyone has to be very careful while driving in and around the wildlife habitats. Not just reptiles there are a lotta incidences where large endangered mammals are also being the victims of dangerous road kill!!

🐘 Chase or Mock Chase ?
Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary being one of the highest elephant density landscape encountering elephants is common some times, but being at the safe distance and knowing when to leave is one of the smartest thing one should know when entering an elephant country. A lotta conflicts happens and people lose life’s when indivisible don’t understand this and end up getting killed and end of the day they blame the wildlife only!
