📸 **Free Eye Check-up Camp – A Grand Success!** 👁️

Rotary Club of Kalyan Riverside, in association with **ASG Eye Hospitals**, successfully organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Kedia Capital , Khadakpada, Kalyan (W).

We are delighted to share that the camp saw an overwhelming response, with **100+ local residents** benefiting from free eye examinations by experienced specialists.

A heartfelt thank you to ASG Eye Hospitals for their expert support, and to all the volunteers, members, and well-wishers who made this initiative possible. Special thanks to our Project Chairs, Rtn. Narshi Patel and Rtn. Ajay Kedia, for their dedication in driving this health camp forward.

Joy of Giving Back to Society

Project Title:
Benches Donation at Siddhgad Adivasi School & Junior College
Area of Focus: Basic Education & Literacy
Date: 24th April 2026
Venue: Dongarnhave, Taluka Murbad, near Sahyadri Ranges

Project Theme:
“When they return to school, they will witness a fresh breeze, a new beginning, the fragrance of new books, and the comfort of new benches.”

Project Background:
Education in tribal and rural regions continues to face infrastructural challenges. Siddhgad Adivasi School & Junior College, located in the remote village of Dongarnhave near Murbad, caters primarily to students from tribal families. One of the major needs identified was the lack of adequate seating arrangements for students.
Recognizing this necessity, the Rotary Club of Kalyan Riverside undertook this project under its commitment to support education and improve basic learning conditions.

Project Ex*****on:
On the afternoon of 24th April 2026, under extreme summer conditions with temperatures soaring to approximately 41°C, the dedicated team of Rotarians visited the school premises nestled in the vicinity of the Sahyadri ranges.
Despite the harsh climate, the spirit of service remained unwavering. The team successfully completed the donation and installation of 22 benches, fulfilling the requirement of one classroom.

Impact & Outcome:
• Provided proper seating arrangements for students
• Enhanced the overall classroom learning environment
• Encouraged students to attend school with greater enthusiasm
• Created a sense of dignity and comfort among tribal students
Though this contribution addresses only a portion of the school’s needs, it marks a significant step towards long-term support and development.

रोटरी क्लब ऑफ कल्याण रिव्हर साइड ला काल झालेल्या सर्वोत्तम प्रोजेक्ट निवड प्रक्रियेत वर्नीकरण प्रकल्पासाठी पुरस्कारास पात्र ठरवण्यात आले आणि आपल्या डिस्ट्रिक्टतर्फे ट्रॉफी देऊन सन्मानित करण्यात आले.
हा प्रोजेक्ट आतापर्यंतचा आपल्या क्लबचा अग्रगण्य आणि मैलाचा दगड ठरणारा उपक्रम आहे.
या प्रोजेक्टमध्ये आपल्या क्लबसोबत पर्यावरण दक्षता मंच व अश्वमेध संस्था यांचा मोलाचा सहभाग असून, या संस्था आजही पूर्ण जबाबदारीने या उपक्रमात सक्रिय आहेत. त्यामुळे मिळालेली ही ट्रॉफी आपल्या क्लबबरोबरच या सर्व संस्थांचा सन्मान आहे.

यांच्या अथक मेहनतीची ही खरी पोचपावती आहे.
याशिवाय श्री. घाणेकर, हिरवे यांनी पाण्याची उत्तम सोय करून दिली तसेच कल्याण महानगरपालिका – श्री. संजय जाधव यांचेही या प्रोजेक्टसाठी महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान लाभले आहे.
