Suadha NGO We are a team of professional social workers from Tata Institute of Social Sciences & Nirmala Niketan.

'Social Upliftment and Development for Health Action’(SUADHA) NGO which is dedicated last 17 years to holistic development of underprivileged and Tribal people through socio economic uplift across India After years of experience in different reputed NGOs, we initiated ‘Social Upliftment and Development for Health Action’ SUADHA , in 2006. We wanted to venture into tribal areas of Murbad, Shahapur

, Palghar, where few organizations were willing to go. Our expertise lay in cancer awareness, early detection and support to patients under treatment. With seed money from our pockets, we travelled through remote villages of the tribal belt of thane district, guiding, helping cancer patients. In 2009, we opened a small office in the Municipal Hospital at Kalyan. We began with helping indoor patients, providing food, medicines, and counseling. Our cancer awareness campaign and detection camps in the slums of Kalyan and different states and cities, drew support from many individual donors and charitable organizations. During this same period, we began identifying schools in tribal areas for our sustainable support programme. Thousands of tribal children have benefitted with our sustained activities in the ashram schools. We are proud to say that many children have been able to continue their studies due to our support programmes. At the same time, we started a Rehab Center, where destitute women from slums and tribal villages have been encouraged to grow financially independent and it has raised their self-esteem. Products made by these women are sold through exhibitions and corporate orders. Our sustained activities in the field of health awareness, tribal development and women empowerment, has brought us recognition and awards from various national & international organizations. It has been our endeavor to make every ordinary person, be it a cancer patient, a destitute woman or a tribal child, feel special. Our greatest achievement in this decade has been - long work .………to give hope for a better future to all those we reached out to!!

𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 | 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐤𝐚, 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭
SUADHA NGO is delighted to share another meaningful milestone in its ongoing 17-Part Plantation Initiative, conducted at Sayle Village, Murbad Taluka, Thane District.
As part of this initiative, 𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭-𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 along both sides of the village road and around the boundary of the village garden.
The plantation drive aims to create a greener and healthier village environment while contributing to:
🌿 Increased green cover
🌳 Cleaner and cooler surroundings
🍃 Biodiversity and ecological balance
🌱 Future availability of fruit-bearing trees
💚 A stronger culture of environmental responsibility
A special highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of 50 students and teachers from local tribal village of Saraswati School. Their active involvement, enthusiasm, and commitment made the plantation drive truly successful and inspiring.
The participation of young students sends a powerful message: when we educate children about nature and give them an opportunity to care for it, we nurture responsible citizens for a greener tomorrow.

SUADHA NGO successfully conducted its 8th Early Detection Full Body of preventive health screening, Cancer Screening Camp on August 25, 2026, Khandpe Village, Murbad Taluka, Thane district from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The village is 120 km from Mumbai city.
At this impactful initiative 𝟏𝟏𝟎 𝐌𝐞𝐧 & 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 first time.
The camp focused on promoting preventive early detection of awareness and health screening of Cancer, Osteoporosis-Bone scanning, Diabetic, Full Blood Cultural and Gynaecology – PAP Smear, BP & Waight, while ensuring access to essential medical support for the local community.

On August 19, 2026, SUADHA NGO proudly conducted its 16th Tree Plantation Drive at Khutal Village, Murbad. Taluka, Thane
Despite the heavy rains, the spirit of community participation and environmental care shown bright. With the enthusiastic involvement of the SUADHA Team, over 150 fruit-bearing trees were planted, contributing to environmental well-being and creating long-term benefits for the local community.
A heartfelt thank you to the Forest Dept., Murbad, Mr. Sunil Alam – Sarpanch, Mr. Sagar Avar-Social Worker and their team for their valuable support and encouragement in making this initiative a success.

𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
On August 8th, 2026, Suadha NGO is delighted to share the successful distribution of 𝟒𝟎 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 to students from Std. 1 Std. to 4 Std. at Z. P. School, Nevalpada Village, Murbad Taluka, which is 95 km remote area from Mumbai city.
This initiative supports children from underserved communities, fostering dignity, equality, and confidence in their educational journey. Your support and cooperation made this initiative truly successful. Thanks to Mr. Shivaji Bhoir- Social worker, whose affords to successful identification of such deserving school.
