The society was formed by the people of the communities after realizing the immense gap in knowledge about the importance of their forests as a global biodiversity hotspot and the general lack of exposure to their communities.

The first day of the Nature Education Workshop, organized in collaboration with NCF and NVSE, was held at Samsing Fari Mandal Gaon—one of the fringe villages of Neora Valley National Park. Participants from several nearby fringe villages joined in, representing a wide range of age groups and backgrounds.

The day proved to be both engaging and insightful. Participants shared personal memories and experiences, offering diverse perspectives on their relationship with nature. Through interactive discussions and activities, they began to see the natural world in new and meaningful ways.

We’re excited and hopeful as we look forward to Day 2, building on this strong and heartfelt beginning.

We have organized a one-day awareness program in celebration of World Environment Day with the community and children from Samsing Fari Mandal Gaon and nearby villages. The children delivered inspiring speeches on the importance of nature in our daily lives and shared valuable insights on preserving natural resources. Additionally, we distributed over 100 saplings to the community, thanks to the generous support of the Samsing forest range. We're deeply grateful for their assistance in distributing the saplings and making this initiative possible.

Let's work together to make our planet greener and cleaner. Every small effort counts towards a healthier Earth. Wishing you a wonderful World Environment Day! May we all take steps to protect and preserve our beautiful Earth for future generations.
