As part of the ongoing 'Seva Pakhwada' (Service Fortnight), the Kailashahar Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad successfully organised a Health Screening Camp at Vivekananda Tripureswari Vidyamandir, a school managed by Vidya Bharati, at Chandipur, Kailashahar, on 13 July 2026 at 11:30 a.m.

The camp focused on promoting health awareness among students by conducting measurements of height and weight, along with blood group identification. A total of 48 students underwent height and weight assessment and blood group testing.

Additionally, the blood groups of teachers were also determined during the programme.
The initiative reflects Bharat Vikas Parishad's continued commitment to community service and the promotion of health awareness through meaningful welfare activities under the banner of Seva Pakhwada. Shri Pranab Kumar Dhar, President, Bharat Vikas Parishad Kailashahar branch was present. Shri Sekhar Biswas, Founder Secretary of Bharat Vikas Parishad Kailashahar branch did the screening test of all the students and faculty members of the institution.

!! 𝗦𝗘𝗪𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗞𝗛𝗪𝗔𝗗𝗔 !!

We are pleased to share that in alignment with the nationwide call of Bharat Vikas Parishad, the Kailashahar Shakha successfully conducted a ‘𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆’ today.

This initiative was carried out in connection with this year’s '𝑺𝒆𝒘𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒌𝒉𝒘𝒂𝒅𝒂’, which is being observed across India from the birth anniversary of our Founder Secretary General, 𝑫𝒓. 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒋 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒉 𝒋𝒊 (27th June), to the Foundation Day of Bharat Vikas Parishad (10th July).

𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: Near Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Durgapur.

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁:
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝑺𝒉𝒓𝒊 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒖 𝑫𝒆, a dedicated volunteer of the Vidyamandir and a true nature lover. Sri Pintu De, who has single-handedly transformed and beautified the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram premises in Kailashahar over the years by planting numerous trees and plants, graciously provided all the logistical support to ensure the smooth and seamless conduct of today's program.

𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
The drive was led by the President of BVP Kailashahar Shakha, 𝑺𝒉𝒓𝒊 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒃 𝑲𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒓 𝑫𝒉𝒂𝒓 𝒋𝒊 along with the active participation of our esteemed branch members. The enthusiastic presence and support of the local residents played a vital role in making this environment-centric program a grand success.

On the occasion of the “Foundation Day” of Bharat Vikas Parishad on 10 July 2026, the Kailashahar Branch organized a Blood Donation Camp at the District Hospital, Kailashahar, Unakoti Tripura. A total of ten volunteers, including members of our branch, donated blood during the camp. Sri Pranab Kumar Dhar, President was present along with other members of the branch.

On 10th July 2026, the Kailashahar Branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organized a relief initiative at the flood relief camp set up in Netaji Vidyapith English Medium Higher Secondary School. As part of the programme, breakfast—including boiled eggs and cakes was distributed to 120 flood-affected people taking shelter in the camp. Sri Pranab Kumar Dhar, President, BVP Kailashahar branch was present along with other senior members of the branch.

On 14 May 2026, Bharat Vikas Parishad Kailashahar branch organised a special programme at Vivekananda Tripureswari Vidyamandir, Chandipur, Kailashahar, to donate essential educational and cultural materials to the school. The donated items included a computer, five joint benches, a tabla, a harmonium, a mridanga, sports equipment, a map of India, blackboards, and globes.

The event was attended by Shri Asis Nath, Secretary, BVP Tripura Prant and other Prant-level office bearers, alongside four Prant-level officials of Vidyabharati and members of the BVP Kailashahar Branch. Eminent social worker Shri Pradip Debbarma, school teachers, School Management Committee members, students, and guardians also graced the occasion.

Presided over by Shri Pranab Kumar Dhar (President, BVP Kailashahar Branch), the meeting featured a charming cultural performance by the students. Shri Sudhangshu Sarkar, Ex-President, BVP Kailashahar branch delivered the welcome address on behalf of the BVP Kailashahar Branch, followed by inspirational speeches from Shri Pradip Debbarma and Shri Asis Nath. SMC Secretary Shri Rajesh Orang offered the vote of thanks on behalf of the school. The programme concluded with the President’s closing remarks and the singing of the National Anthem.

On 03/05/26, the 24th Annual General Meeting of Bharat Vikas Parishad Tripura Prant was held at Agartala, West Tripura. The members of Bharat Vikas Parishad Kailashahar branch also participated in the program. Sri Tinku Roy, the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education and Labour in Govt of Tripura was the Chief Guest. Sri Jagadindu Deb, Hon’ble Regional Organising Secretary, BVP, N-E region was also present. Justice S C Das, Hon’ble Prantiya President, BVP, Tripura Prant, Sri Pranab Kumar Dhar, President, BVP Kailashahar branch, officials of Tripura Prant, and members of all branches under Tripura Prant were also present.

Today, Bharat Vikas Parishad Kailashahar branch organized a heartfelt “𝑮𝒖𝒓𝒖 𝑽𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒓𝒂 𝑨𝒃𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒏” program at Srirampur SM HS School. The event served as a beautiful tribute to the noble profession of teaching, fostering a culture of respect and gratitude within the student community. The program’s primary focus was the felicitation of 𝑺𝒎𝒕. 𝑨𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒓. As she approaches her retirement, the ceremony acknowledged her years of dedicated service and her invaluable contribution to the lives of countless students.

A special note of appreciation goes to the principal, 𝑺𝒓𝒊 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒎 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒂𝒓, whose support and cooperation were instrumental in hosting the event seamlessly at the school premises. The success of the initiative is largely credited to 𝑺𝒎𝒕. 𝑨𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑫𝒆, Mahila Sahbhagita, BVP Kailashahar branch. Her proactive leadership and meticulous planning ensured the program was both meaningful and impactful. This celebration not only honored a retiring educator but also reminded everyone present that the guidance of a "𝑮𝒖𝒓𝒖" is a lifelong gift. 𝑺𝒓𝒊 𝑺𝒖𝒅𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒉𝒖 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒂𝒓, President, BVP Kailashahar branch was present. The presence of respected teachers of the prestigious institution, students and guardians made the event more beautiful and memorable.

This morning, members of the Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Kailashahar branch, under the Tripura Prant, distributed 58 blankets to the residents of Tachai Tea Estate and Subhash Nagar. The beneficiaries expressed their sincere gratitude following the distribution.
