The Advanced Locality Management (ALM) in one such model. ALM is an established concept for citizens’ involvement and interaction with the MCGM, police, traffic, collector, other statutory authorities and public/private utility agencies. According to this concept a neighbourhood group is formed to ensure that citizens work together to identify and solve their local area problems. JSRA is an initia

tive in the same direction. After the deluge of 26/7 in 2006, the residents of our locality have formed this group and the BMC is associated with the group for regular progress on the various concerns of the citizens here. This invitation seeks you to join in and devote some time to either supervise projects taken up by the ALM, or engage your special skills to beautify your own neighbourhood, or contribute in any way you would like to restore the area its splendor and pave the way for a cleaner and better tomorrow. As Mahatma Gandhi had said, “BE the change you desire to see.”
