A quiet spot is waiting for you at The Hive to discuss and learn new things that matter, or to delve into your own thoughts, even those you would not share, or to take a book from the shelf and find some lines you would never forget.
It was an evening of thought for us. We, at The Hive, shared our opinions on International Women's Day on 7th March, i.e., last Saturday. Many questions arose while discussing and it impacted our deeper consciousness. Some questions were answered and for some others, we were to introspect.
Let's take a moment to look into the past and rethink our future at The Hive. 😊

Hello Bees, today we had the pleasure of meeting Sri Biplab Baruah Sir, the owner of Bedakantha Publications. He kindly visited our centre and donated 20 books to our library with a promise to send more!
He appreciated our group and our work and his daughter will be joining the Hive soon. We thank Jayanta Madhav Dutta Sir for taking this initiative to introduce Baruah Sir to us. We begin this new season with a new set of books that can inspire and motivate us in the future.
Let us hope that this new addition brings more knowledge to our Hive Community as books are considered as the depository of wisdom.

Reflecting on an incredible session!
On January 18th, The Hive community came together for "A Discussion on Social Psychology" led by the brilliant Debanjan Borthakur,he is a researcher,teacher and writer.
From understanding human rights to the nuances of mental health, the energy in the room was inspiring. We’re so proud to provide a space for these vital conversations in Jorhat.

Reflecting on our session with Dr. Jayanta Madhab Dutta Sir!
On the 17th of January,2026, we had the privilege of hosting a deep-dive conversation into the world of cinema. Dr. Jayanta Madhab Dutta sir shared his profound insights on the legacy of Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, the definition of "good films," and the pivotal role of the Film Society Movement in shaping our cultural landscape.
It was more than just a session,it was a masterclass in understanding the power of storytelling and the evolution of Assamese cinema. A huge thank you to Jayanta sir for sharing his journey and expertise with us!
