Empowering Justice and Dignity

Korabi( name changed)from Jorhat bravely stood against domestic violence and dowry harassment. With PBET’s unwavering support—through legal guidance, counselling, and court assistance—she fought fearlessly for her rights.

In 2025, justice prevailed as the court granted her monthly maintenance, marking a new beginning filled with hope, strength, and confidence.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that when women stand up, change begins.

PBET stands proudly with every woman who fights for justice, dignity, and empowerment.

Empowering Women, Building the Future 🌱

Purva Bharati Educational Trust (PBET) is proud to stand with the women of Borbheti, Jorhat, who are leading the way in sustainable land development. Despite obstacles and misinformation, these determined women have taken charge of earth-filling and boundary work on PBET’s land — proving that empowerment begins with action.

Their efforts aim to transform the land into a hub for agriculture, sericulture, and silk tourism — creating opportunities for local women and promoting environmental conservation.

Together, they’re breaking stereotypes, challenging norms, and shaping a future where women lead with strength and purpose. 💪🌾
