'74th बर थुनलाइ आफादानि जानाम सान'

The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (Boro Thunlai Afad) was founded on 16th November 1952 under the presidency and leadership of Joy Bhadra
Hagjer, at Basugaon in the district of Goalpara (that time), now in Chirang, Assam. It was founded to serve as an organization for the development
and promotion of the Boro language and literature. Its establishment was a response to the need to formally promote the language and literature of
the Boro people, and it has since become a crucial organization for this purpose. Since that the 16th November is declared as public holiday account of Boro Thunlai Shaan (Bodo Literary Day)
