Urgent Police Notice: Missing 14-Year-Old Boy - ₹2 Lakh Reward Offered.

Darjeeling Police are urgently seeking information regarding the disappearance of 14-year-old Ishan Gurung, who was reportedly kidnapped on the evening of Saturday, August 23.

Ishan was last seen near the NH-10 Highway in the Sevoke 10 Mile Forest Settlement area.

An extensive search operation has been launched to locate him. To aid in his safe return, the Darjeeling Police are offering a reward of ₹2,00,000 (Two Lakhs) for any credible information that leads to his recovery.

We appeal to the public for help. If you have any information, no matter how small, please contact us immediately. Your assistance is crucial and could be the key to bringing Ishan back home safely.

Repair work of Rammam Suspension Bridge has started from today, undertaken by the Road & Bridges Department, Soreng District.

AE,JE and Site Supervisor are present at the Location to oversee the restoration work.

🕘 Bridge closed daily from 9 AM to 6 PM during the repair period.
Please use alternate routes and cooperate with the department.

Murder Case Reported in Pakyong, One Suspect Arrested.

A murder case has been reported in Pakyong after the body of a local resident was discovered inside an under construction building on 24th July 2025.

Pakyong Police have registered a case under murder charges against an unidentified person. One suspect has been arrested, and an investigation is currently underway.
