We’re honored to have our story shared by Heber Valley Life.
This work has always been about people, connection, and showing up where it matters most. Thank you for helping tell that story. 🤍

ROAM Humanitarian has been making an impact in this beautiful jungle near Santa Teresa. For years we’ve been taking our groups here to plant native trees. Word has begun to spread about our efforts! During our trip last November we had government leaders and students from local universities join us. Their hope is to offer a similar experience to tourists, nature lovers, and bird watchers passing through to Machu Picchu to help boost their local economy while also preserving their beautiful land. 🌿

We arrived to a beautiful breakfast prepared by the local village. After we were given instructions, we loaded up with endemic trees and hiked into the jungle towards a stunning waterfall. We planted along the way. The trail was covered with butterflies and filled with the sound of running water and singing birds. 🦋 We all enjoyed cooling off in the waterfall before hiking back down.

Days after this project our in-country partner shared with us some additional details that we hadn’t noticed. As the leader of the village had anticipated and planned for our arrival, he dreamed of taking us into the jungle to this waterfall. Our in-country partner told us that as we all happily played in the water after our hard work, that local leader sat back and watched with a look of pure satisfaction, pride, and contentment. He had helped make that experience possible for us and his village. He had helped bring additional income to those in need while also conserving their land.

We don’t always know the full impact we make in an area or for a single person, but when we choose to simply show up with a willing heart and ready to work, there is impact!

We still have spots left on our Spring 2026 Peru Expedition. Our December Special ends soon so don’t hesitate. Register with a friend or family member and you both save $500. Come serve with us! 💛

Another amazing day in Peru serving the most humble and happy humans. We shopped, we danced, we dug, we lifted, we painted, we played and we made an impact in small and big ways all along the way.

- 17 families and 1 school for children with special needs were provided with food donations

- 30 children were provided with a small gift and traditional holiday treat

- 1 fence built

- 1 mural painted

- 1 garden weeded and replanted

- 1 toilet replaced

- 1 sink replaced

- 1 water heater installed

- 1 house painted

- 1 new mattress

- 2 new couches

- 250+ people impacted for good in just 1 single day

Today was special. We served side-by-side with communities, families and our in-country partners. We problem-solved when projects were bigger than anticipated, and rallied when we saw more needs that needed to be filled. Small and simple steps towards making the world just a little brighter. ✨

Our November expedition in Peru was filled with meaningful, memorable and impactful service. Our in-country partner works closely with each location to identify their specific needs and coordinate logistics so when we arrive, we can get to work!

Our first full service day was spent at an orphanage for girls. We delivered and chopped wood for their kitchen stove, painted new life into their dormitory rooms and hallways, refinished the perimeter fence, brought a dentist to provide teeth cleanings and check-ups, provided essential donations and educational classes, hired a team of local chefs to provide the entire community with a delicious lunch, cleaned up the property and brought a little light and joy through some play and pampering. It was a joy serving these resilient and beautiful humans! ✨

In the blue streets of Jodhpur, India, so many girls from Dalit communities grow up fighting barriers they didn’t choose—limited schooling, early marriage, and generations of discrimination. When we create safe spaces, education, and real opportunity, that cycle breaks—and her future finally becomes hers.

Today I spent time with the lowest cast system formerly know as the untouchables. This is my why. Human connection. One at a time. Today it was Kamala.

Meet Joyce. Single mother of 3.

We were able to build Joyce a beautiful new home for her family made from logs, rocks, and donkey manure. It was such a fulfilling day not only building a new home but providing water filters from to many families who share the same water as their animals. We handed out reusable menstruation kits and reusable period pad and provided women education.

We were able to send a few kids to the hospital for some needed medical care and love and play games with the rest. Another impactful day on a .humanitarian expedition. 💚

This incredible center in Bali supports young adults with disabilities who might otherwise never get the chance to leave their homes.

ROAMers jumped in to help with upkeep and beautification - making mud paint for the walls, building a new gazebo, and donating art bags!

It's amazing what a little teamwork (and a lot of love) can do. 💚

Meet Leah.

Single mother of 5.
HIV+.
Former Kilimanjaro porter.
Homeless.
One of her five children is positive as well.

Today she got a 3 bedroom home thanks to generous ROAMers. Her biggest fear is that this disease will take her life early and she won’t have anywhere for her kids to live after she’s gone. Now that concern is over. ❤️
