On International Day of the Girl Child, GRAVIS, with invaluable EU support from the SABL (Strengthening Agriculture-Based Livelihoods) project, brought together communities in Barmer, Jaisalmer, Pali, and Phalodi districts of the Thar. We hosted awareness dialogues where girls and women, including SHG and ILG members, community leaders, and government consultants, collectively explored crucial topics: leadership, education, health, legal rights and gender equality. Our shared vision is to establish powerful women-led initiatives that drive skill development and agri-entrepreneurship, especially in these drought-affected regions. We are united in building a more equitable world, one empowered girl at a time.
