Creating spaces where students feel safe to speak and strong to grow.

At Mandla, we organized structured psychological and self-awareness counseling sessions through both group and individual interactions. Group counseling was conducted separately for girls and boys to foster comfort, trust, and openness.

A special session before dinner encouraged students to anonymously submit their concerns through a black box — allowing them to voice challenges they may hesitate to speak about openly. Each issue was carefully addressed, ensuring students felt heard, supported, and understood.

Such initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing emotional resilience, confidence, and mental well-being among students.

During our career counseling initiative in Mandla, we engaged senior students in detailed discussions and exhibitions focused on diverse and emerging career pathways. “Mental well-being is not a luxury, it is a necessity.”

With this belief, a Mental Health & Emotional Well-being Awareness Session was successfully organized at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Churhat, Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh.
Alongside mental health awareness, Class 12 students participated in a Career Counselling & Guidance Workshop and Work Importance Test, designed to build emotional balance, stress management skills, career clarity, and future readiness.
The initiative encouraged students to prioritize their mental health while planning their academic and professional journeys.

Psychometric tests help students discover where their aptitude truly lies in relation to their personality and interests. By analyzing cognitive abilities, behavioral traits, and preferences, these assessments offer a clear picture of strengths, challenges, and learning styles.
The results guide students toward relevant career pathways and prospects, while also identifying areas that need improvement and explaining how they can develop those skills over time.
This structured approach supports students in making well-informed career choices and building confidence in their academic and professional journey.

Supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of students
Around 270 students from classes 9–12 at Anuppur JNV participated in dedicated sessions focused on mental health awareness, emotional resilience, and self-awareness.
In addition, group and individual counseling sessions were conducted for students from classes 6–12, helping students understand emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills.
Students were also guided on emerging and in-demand career options, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.

Together, we continue working towards holistic student development and well-being.

An Online Aptitude Test (Psychometric Assessment) was successfully conducted at PM SHRI School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Katni, Madhya Pradesh, for students of Class 9, 10, and 11 providing students with an opportunity to understand their strengths, interests, and potential career paths.
