Today, a collaborative meeting was held at the Health & Wellness Centre in Dmantapur block, facilitated by Biju Patnaik Tribal Agrobiodiversity Centre as part of the BMGF project. We had an engaging session with Community Champions (Gaggad Sathis), ASHA workers, Anganwadi Workers (AWW), and CRPs, focusing on their vital roles in identifying anaemic pregnant and lactating women, as well as children aged 0-5 years.
Our goal is to ensure these vulnerable groups receive the best possible care, including referrals severely MAM & SAM children to block & district level hospitals. Ten Gaggad Sathis have been supported with mobile phones to assist in tracking and reaching out to those requiring support. Together, we're committed to improving health outcomes for our community!
