What’s the purpose of collecting passenger age details if Indian Railways still splits families during seat allotment? Parents on one berth, child on another berth elsewhere in the coach. An 8-year-old should not be separated from family during travel. Family bookings with young children and senior citizens should be seated together by default. This causes unnecessary stress and inconvenience.Please improve the allotment algorithm to keep families with young children together.
