⚽ *YiSL 2026 — The Tables Have Turned!*

*What an evening!* 🔥

Yesterday’s Futsal round was filled with enthusiasm, energy, team spirit and some fantastic participation from everyone. The tables have turned, and we now have a new table topper! 🏆

A big thank you to everyone who came, participated, played and cheered their hearts out as we experimented with our new round-robin format. The competitive spirit was truly at its peak!

*And for the first time, we also had the Women’s Penalty Shootout!* ⚽️💥 The girls had an absolute blast and brought incredible energy to the ground. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and making the event so much more special.

*With just Athletics and Cricket left, we are now getting closer and closer to the finish line!* 🏁

The race for the YiSL 2026 Championship is wide open. Every point matters, every performance counts, and there is still everything to play for.

*So get ready. Get going. Give it everything you’ve got — before it’s too late to finish on top and be crowned the 🏆 YiSL 2026 Champions!*

A heartfelt thank you to our YiSL Management, whose constant support makes every event possible, and to all our Yi Members, who continue to show up, participate and cheer with such open hearts.

*You are what makes YiSL more than just a competition* — you make it fun, energetic, inclusive and full of memories. ❤️

*Two events. One finish line. One YiSL Champion.* 🏆

*Let the final battle begin!* 🔥

Duathlon isn’t just for pro athletes. It’s for EVERYONE. 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♀️

You can walk.
You can jog.
You can run.
You can cycle fast — or take it slow.

Last year, we did the Duathlon exclusively for Yi members, and 30 people who had never considered themselves runners or cyclists took on the challenge for the very first time.

And they did it. 🙌

Because this isn’t about how fast you finish.
It’s about crossing that finish line and hearing those words:

“You’re a Duathlon Finisher.” 🏅

That feeling? There’s nothing quite like it.

If they could do it for the first time, so can you.

🚗 Empowering First Responders at Srinath University! 🚑

On 27th August 2026 , The Yi Road Safety team successfully conducted an impactful “EMRI Farishtey” training session at Srinath University.

We trained over 100 B. Pharma students and 50 BBA students on crucial emergency response and life-saving skills.
The energy in the auditorium was fantastic, and the hands-on training was extremely well-received by all the students!

Together, we are building a safer, more prepared community! 🚦💪

CFE Visit by Yi – Exploring the History, Art & Heritage of Jamshedpur

Today, the Yi team visited CFE, taking a wonderful walk through the gallery showcasing the history, art and rich heritage of Jamshedpur.

It was a truly enriching experience—an opportunity to connect with the city’s fascinating past and appreciate its cultural legacy.

A special thanks to Rohit Kedia for coordinating the visit and walking through the experience with the team.

Heartfelt thanks to Prity Jha from CFE for taking the Yi team on the gallery walk and bringing the stories and heritage of Jamshedpur alive.

And a warm thank you to Isheta Bhogal to initiate the visit from tata steel corp comm team.

JOGGA Inter-School Boys’ & Girls’ Chess Championship 2026

The JOGGA Inter-School Boys’ & Girls’ Chess Championship 2026 was successfully organised on 17th and 18th August 2026 at the J.R.D. Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, with strong support from Yi Jamshedpur through its Sports Mytri initiative.

The two-day championship brought together 310 young chess players from 37 schools, creating a vibrant platform for school-level chess in the city.

The championship featured four categories:

* Senior Boys – 77 players
* Junior Boys – 81 players
* Junior Girls – 59 players
* Senior Girls – 43 players

The event aimed to promote chess while nurturing essential life skills such as strategic thinking, concentration, decision-making, patience, discipline and sportsmanship.

The strong participation from 37 schools reflects the growing interest in chess among young students and the importance of creating structured opportunities for children to compete, learn and excel.

Yi Jamshedpur, through Sports Mytri, played a significant role in supporting this initiative, reinforcing its commitment towards promoting sports and creating meaningful sporting opportunities for children and young athletes.

More than a championship, the event was a celebration of young talent, healthy competition and the power of sport to build confident and thoughtful individuals.
