We have been relentlessly working in the fields of Education, Health and Social Entrepreneurship (specifically Women Empowerment) over the last few years and have pro

ALIG currently has multiple resource centers of its own, operating in four districts of Jharkhand and one district of Bihar. Programs in these centers are currently being executed by an experienced and qualified team. Thanks to the able support from Government of India, Government of Jharkhand, Tata Power and Jaypee Group (to name a few), we have been able to facilitate smiles on more than 7000 beneficiaries till date.

At Hunar Ghar, beneficiaries are learning the intricate art of Chikankari, transforming every stitch into a step toward new opportunities.

From mastering their first stitch to creating beautiful Chikankari motifs, every creation reflects patience, creativity and determination. 🧵

Celebrating Independence Day with Creativity & Talent!

This 15th August, we celebrated the spirit of freedom, creativity and learning by organizing exciting competitions for our students.

MS Word Design Competition – Students showcased their creativity and MS Word design skills through innovative digital designs.

Eye Makeup Competition – Students demonstrated their creativity, precision and eye makeup skills.

Embroidery & Bag Stitching Competition – Students showcased their embroidery techniques and stitching skills.

Celebrating Talent & Achievement
The winners and outstanding performers were felicitated with prizes and certificates to appreciate their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

These activities encouraged students to express themselves, build confidence, and transform their skills into opportunities for the future.

A new chapter begins. ✨

ALIG Educational & Welfare Society with the support of OCPL under its CSR initiative, launched Sapno ka Dhaga – Women Led Craft Centre at Manoharpur R&R Colony, Hemgir, Odisha.

Over the coming months, nearly 100 women from the R&R Colony will have the opportunity to build skills in stitching and craft, while developing confidence, leadership and entrepreneurship for sustainable livelihoods.

At ALIG, we believe that when women have access to skills, opportunity and the right support, they become powerful leaders of change in their families and communities.

We are proud to partner with OCPL in creating opportunities that place women at the centre of inclusive and community-led development. This is just the beginning.

STEM Learning to Block-Level Achievement! 🏆

What started as hands-on learning in the STEM Lab turned into a proud milestone for Hiranmay Das a student of HS Domjuri. With guidance from his STEM teacher and the support of Tata Power and ALIG Society, Hiranmay developed a Solar Energy working model that earned 1st Prize at the Block-Level Science Competition.

His journey is a testament to how practical STEM education inspires innovation, builds confidence, and empowers young minds to achieve their dreams.

ALIG, in collaboration with AEEF, has been transforming lives in Uttar Pradesh through education, skill development, and livelihood opportunities. Over the past two years, our Stitching & Tailoring Course has empowered 246 women with skills that lead to financial independence.

✨ Impact at a Glance:

🏠 38 women are earning from home through tailoring orders.
👗 6 beneficiaries are employed in boutiques.
🌟 3 women have started their own boutique businesses.

Together, we are creating opportunities, building confidence, and empowering communities-one stitch at a time.
