🌿Learning. Collaborating. Growing Together.🌍

Sahayogi Mahila was pleased to participate at the GROW+ Convening, held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on 28–29 July 2026.

The two-day convening brought together civil society organizations from across India to exchange experiences, strengthen organizational capacities, and explore community-led approaches to climate resilience and sustainable development.

During the discussions, we shared our experiences and the ground realities of the Kolhan region, Jharkhand, where changing rainfall patterns, water scarcity, forest degradation, and livelihood challenges are increasingly affecting rural and tribal communities.

🌾 **Empowering Farmers Through Financial Inclusion!** 🤝🏦

On 18 July 2026, Bank of India, Rajnagar Branch, in collaboration with Sahayogi Mahila and Jal Jeevika Kisan Producer Company Limited (FPO)**, successfully organized a Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Loan Distribution & Awareness Camp**.

The program brought together 100+ farmers and SHG members, where valuable awareness on agricultural credit, financial inclusion, and modern banking services was shared. A total of **₹47 lakh** in loans was distributed, benefiting 24 farmers through KCC and 6 Self-Help Groups (SHGs)—a significant step toward strengthening sustainable agriculture and rural livelihoods.

Together, we are building a financially empowered farming community and a stronger rural economy. 🌱🇮🇳

🌱 Empowering Farmers. Building a Climate-Resilient Future.🌾🐐

For two inspiring days, 13th & 14th July 2026, Sahayogi Mahila NGO successfully organized a Training on Climate-Resilient Agriculture & Advanced Farming Practices.

The program equipped farmers with practical knowledge on:
🌾 Climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture
🐐 Advanced scientific goat farming techniques
💧 Efficient water and soil management
🌱 Modern farming practices for better productivity and income

It was wonderful to see farmers actively participating, sharing experiences, and learning innovative methods that will help create stronger, more sustainable livelihoods for their families and communities.

Together, we are sowing the seeds of resilience, sustainability, and prosperity. 🌍💚

As part of the GROW + program supported by the EdelGive Foundation, Sahayogi Mahila organised a capacity building workshop in Bagraisai with its team members, focusing on organizational strengthening and long-term sustainability.
The session enabled a structured reflection on organizational strengths, gaps, opportunities, and risks, while also revisiting Sahyogi Mahila’s vision and growth journey. Key areas such as communication, leadership, and business development were explored to build stronger internal systems and enhance program delivery.
The workshop began with the blessings of Chami Murmu (President) and concluded with a vote of thanks by Jawahar Mahato (Secretary).

We sincerely acknowledge EdelGive Foundation’s support through the Grow+ Fund in enabling grassroot organizations to build robust systems, strengthen leadership, and drive sustainable community impact at scale.

🌿 Strengthening Rural India through Cooperation & Digital Empowerment
Sahyogi Mahila was proud to be part of a development program organized by NABARD in collaboration with the State Cooperative Department, Government of Jharkhand.
The program emphasized:
🔹 Product quality enhancement
🔹 Digital platforms for market access
🔹 Digitization of PACS & integration with e-KCC
Digitalization and capacity building were highlighted as key drivers for strengthening the rural economy, supported by:
✔ Strong cooperative institutions
✔ FPO promotion & agri-marketing systems
✔ Multi-purpose rural economic centers
📌 Focus on NABARD initiatives (ongoing & upcoming):
Watershed | WADI & Non-WADI | FPO (business development)
Certificates for PACS membership, e-KCC, and approvals to selected FPOs were distributed, strengthening financial inclusion.

आज दिनांक 12/02/2026 को रांची कैपिटल हिल में Grow Plus Fund के 34 पार्टनर संस्थाओं का एक दिवसीय क्षमता विकास प्रशिक्षण संपन्न हुआ। जिसमें राजस्थान, उड़ीसा और झारखंड प्रदेश के NGO पार्टनर् संस्थाओं के प्रमुख कार्यकारी सदस्यों ने भाग लिया। इस कार्यक्रम में EdelGive एवं Phia foundation के एंकर सदस्यों ने जलवायु परिवर्तन के कारण होने वाले सामाजिक, आर्थिक, मुद्दों की पहचान एवं चुनितयों के संदर्भ में पूरे दिन विस्तार से चर्चा करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभायें। सभी संस्थाओं के मजबूत एवं सामना कर रहे समस्याओं से अवगत हुए। दिनों दिन बढ़ रहे पर्यावरणीय संकट से आम जनताओं पर पड़ रहे, प्रभाव का आंकलन किया गया। और आने वाले तीन वर्षो में एक साझा कार्यक्रम में मिल कर कार्य करने के लिए सहमत हुए। इस कार्यक्रम में सहयोगी महिला संस्था , बागराईसाई, राजनगर से जवाहरलाल महतो, हेमंत कुमार और पद्मश्री पुरस्कार से सम्मानित सुश्री Chami Murmu ने भाग लिया, तथा पर्यावरण बदलाव के कारण कोल्हान प्रमंडल की चुनितियों के सन्दर्भ में अपना पक्ष रखा।
