🌎 Just dropped off 55 kg of recyclable plastics at the TATA Steel UISL RRR center! ♻️ We are absolutely enlightened to share that our Action Team of Plastic Recycle Campaign have collected approximately 150 kgs of the recyclable plastics so far, which is equivalent to the weight of 1,50,000 empty 1L plastic water bottles.

Every bit counts in our journey to a greener planet. We urge all the students, faculty & staff to take a little step towards sustainable solutions by dropping the recyclable plastics into the specially made steel bins on campus.

Let's make NIT Jamshedpur a shining example of responsible environmental stewardship!

We have embarked on the journey of the 'Plastic Recycle Campaign' with the first step today. Our team has collected Recyclable used plastic items from residences & hostel messes on campus.
We have collected 18 kg of recyclable plastic items. However, the number looks small because of the low density of plastic items, its weight is almost equivalent to the weight of 1000 empty 1L plastic water bottles. We are happy to announce that amount of plastic is stopped from mixing up with Environment and we'll soon send it to RRR center.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us in this journey. Let's keep this momentum going and continue to inspire positive change for future generations.

Let's make NIT Jamshedpur a shining example of responsible environmental stewardship!
