She fell from a 3 storey under-construction building. Was unconscious for 10-12 days. Three legs fractured. One leg had to be amputated.

It took us a long time to understand that Julie is deaf.

Julie was abandoned by her owners after she was abused. When she came to us she was so deeply traumatized that for almost two months she wouldn’t even lift her head. She would just sit there, completely shut down.

Every day we sat with her. Quietly. Just trying to make her feel safe. Slowly, over time, she started trusting us.

One day she finally lifted her head and looked at us.

Julie has come a long way since then. She trusts us now, but she still gets scared when new people are around. Healing from something like this takes time.



Julie, deaf dog, abandoned by owners, abuse survivor, deeply traumatized, wouldn’t lift her head for two months, learning to trust again, rescue journey, patience and care, healing slowly, still scared of new people, second chance.

From the streets of Jamshedpur to our recovery centre, many of these animals have faced abuse and pain most humans could never imagine going through.

And somehow… they are still strong.
We would probably break, wouldn’t we?

Today, we care for 150+ rescued animals. The responsibility is heavy, and the stakes are high.
Some need daily medication.
Some need surgeries.
Some need lifelong care.

Running an animal NGO is not easy. Funds run low, bills keep adding up, and emergencies never stop.

If we don’t help, nobody will. They truly have no one else.
