We are delighted to welcome Asmita Dorjee to the TEDxBistupur stage.

Coming from a family deeply rooted in mountaineering, Asmita grew up learning resilience, discipline, and teamwork. In 2022, during her Everest expedition, she came within just 100 meters of the summit before making the difficult decision to turn back. A year later, in 2023, she returned to the mountain and successfully summited Everest.

In her talk, “The Courage to Come Back,” Asmita will share what it means to face disappointment, choose safety over ego, and gather the courage to begin again.

Because sometimes, coming back is not a failure it is the bravest decision you can make.
