Project Title: Wheelchair Donation Drive Project

On the 6th of August 2024, the Rotaract Club of Steel City successfully provided a wheelchair to Somala Gope, a resident of Birshanagar, Jamshedpur who needed this essential aid. This noble initiative was generously sponsored by the Inner Wheel Club of Zest. The project, which amounted to approximately 5,000 INR, made a significant impact on improving the quality of life for the beneficiary, offering a lifetime benefit by enhancing mobility and independence.

Warm Rotaract Greetings! 💐

Title: Seva Shivir Project at Rath Yatra
Date: July 7, 2024
Venue: Near Jusco Golchakkar, Bistupur
Avenue: Community Services 👥

On July 7th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Steel City actively participated in the Rath Yatra by organizing a Seva Shivir project near Jusco Golchakkar, Bistupur. This revered festival, celebrating the chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, provided us with a unique opportunity to engage with the community and contribute to the festivities through our dedicated service initiative.

Stall Setup and Offerings:
Our stall was strategically positioned to cater to the needs of attendees throughout the event. We provided the following refreshments:

- Buttermilk: 500 bottles distributed among devotees.
- Paper Boats with Drinks: 500 servings offered to participants.
- Slice: 500 bottles of Slice distributed to quench thirst.
- Packed Drinking Water: 1500 bottles provided to ensure hydration for all participants.
- Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 3000 individuals benefited from our service.

On July 7th, 2024, the Rotaract Club of Steel City actively participated in the annual Rath Yatra held at Ram Mandir, Bistupur. This traditional festival celebrates the chariot procession of Lord Jagannath, and our club took pride in contributing through dedicated volunteer efforts aimed at ensuring the smooth and safe conduct of the event.

Activities Undertaken:
The day began early with our members gathering at the assembly point near the starting location of the procession route at 6:00 AM. We organized ourselves into teams and enthusiastically took on various responsibilities:

1. Crowd Management: We played a crucial role in assisting local authorities in managing the large influx of devotees and spectators along the procession route, ensuring orderly movement and providing necessary guidance.

2. Logistics Support: Another team of volunteers efficiently set up barricades, cleared the route for the chariots.

Active Participation:
Nineteen dedicated members from our club actively participated in the Rath Yatra, demonstrating their commitment to community service and cultural preservation:
