Sangeet Natak Akademi and its associate bodies deeply mourn the passing of Shri Joravarsinh Jadav, the Vice-Chairman of Sangeet Natak Akademi, an eminent folklorist and proponent of the folk arts of Gujarat, and a recipient of Padma Shri. He passed away on 7 November 2025.

Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved ones, and prayers to the Almighty to give them strength enough to bear this irreparable loss.
