By 1981, he founded the Young Blood Association, beginning a 40-year journey with the Red Cross.
Decades later, as Regional Secretary, he used law and diplomacy to revive long-dead community projects and reclaim a 2-crore welfare facility. Impressed by his fierce dedication, the Governor bypassed standard term limits, extending his tenure indefinitely. He served for 6 years—without accepting a single penny.
