A Gram Sabha was held at Wussan, Ganderbal, to support 210 individual claim forms. A large crowd, including many women, attended the meeting and voted in favor of each claim.
The JKFRC and JKGBYWC team assisted the Gram Sabha by explaining the required formalities, procedures, and the role of the Gram Sabha. Speakers on the occasion included Dr. Shaikh Ghulam Rasool, Zahid Parwaz Choudhary Bashir Terwah, Sajad Kasana, Ilyas Jagal, and Hakim Snober Khan, alongside officials from all concerned line departments attended the same.
The implementation of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) is gaining momentum day by day, and our team continues to visit villages to help residents fill out their forms and navigate the procedure.
