Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust

Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT) commenced a modest yet meaningful journey in the year 1992. Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust since its inception has been working keeping in view the objectives of social, economic and educational upliftment of tribals and other weaker sections. GDCT seeks its legitimacy in being the frontal Non-Governmental Organization in giving a powerful voice to these concerns of the community which are groaning under the treadmill of neglect and exploitation. GDCT has already visualized a broad framework, a road-map of its further development and functioning has already been worked out. GDCT has in place facilities like Researcher’s Retrieve, Language and Music House, a Workshop and an Auditorium. More than 1500 children are enrolled in the school GDCT are running with. Tribal communities have their distinct existence, their unique customs and traditions, their peculiar dress codes, their arts and artifacts and their belief systems. Unless cautiously protected and conserved, these cultural identities are forever in danger of melting away.
