A healthier Jammu & Kashmir doesn’t begin in policies it begins in conversations, in classrooms, and in awareness.

Through the BDRH campaign, we are working to build a generation that understands what they consume, questions what they see, and makes informed choices.

In collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Food & Drugs Department, this is a step towards creating a more health-conscious society one school at a time.

If you believe in driving real change at the grassroots level, this is your opportunity to be part of the movement.

Apply now.

In the social impact space, good intentions are everywhere.

But intention alone does not guarantee responsibility.

Over time, we have realised that the harder question isn’t “How many people did we reach?” It’s “What remained after we stepped away?”

With the next IICF Dialogue in Ahmedabad, we are exploring something uncomfortable but necessary:

Who remains accountable when the spotlight fades?

“Beyond Good Intentions” is a space for young builders and evolving leaders to reflect on blind spots, power, ownership, and the shift from projects to institutions.

Because impact is not built on passion alone —
it is built on design, accountability, and long-term thinking.

If you are serious about building responsibly, this conversation is for you.

When young people step forward to teach, they don’t just transfer knowledge; they transfer belief.

Over the past week, 36 student volunteers from HLCC Sarvodaya Spirit, H. L. College of Commerce, came together to lead Udaan 2.0, an educational drive focused on strengthening foundations in English, Mathematics, and Science, while nurturing curiosity and confidence among school students.

What stood out wasn’t just the lessons taught, but the intent behind them - volunteers sitting beside students, listening patiently, encouraging questions, and creating a space where learning felt safe and possible.

At Kitaab Aur Kalam Foundation, we see initiatives like Udaan not as one-time activities, but as moments where young citizens begin to see themselves as stakeholders in someone else’s future. Grateful to each of the 36 volunteers who chose to show up, contribute, and lead with empathy.

This is how ecosystems of learning and responsibility are built.
Because sometimes, all it takes is someone saying you can.

On 26th January 2026, 70 students from Kitaab Aur Kalam Foundation, from our adopted school Aekta Vidhyalay (Vasna, Ahmedabad), participated in Anandmela 17.0; a flagship community service initiative hosted at Ahmedabad University.

Organised by the student-led Social Service Forum, Anandmela is a large-scale experiential learning event that brought together approximately 1,100 children from city-based NGOs and families of the university’s support staff for a day rooted in play, learning, and shared joy.

Hosted at the Amrut Mody School of Management, the campus was thoughtfully transformed into multiple “islands” each designed as an interactive learning space. Through structured games and hands-on activities, children engaged in experiences that nurtured curiosity, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, reinforcing the idea that learning extends far beyond classrooms.

Anandmela stands as a compelling example of how universities can function as inclusive civic spaces. By opening institutional infrastructure to the community, such initiatives contribute to:
- democratizing access to quality learning environments,
- fostering social integration across socio-economic boundaries, and
- strengthening social capital through participatory, student-led action.

For our students, this was more than an excursion. It was an immersive experience of what inclusive and playful cities can look like, where education is rooted in dignity, joy, and collective growth.

We extend our appreciation to Ahmedabad University and the Social Service Forum for curating Anandmela 17.0 with such intention and care. Initiatives like these reaffirm that joy, play, and learning are not separate domains, but deeply interconnected pillars of meaningful education.

Impact doesn’t start with applause or certificates.
It starts when young people step into real spaces classrooms, streets, communities and learn by showing up.
kak 2026 is a 21-day action-based journey where youth move beyond conversations and begin practicing change. Through volunteering, leadership sessions, and on-ground engagement, participants learn what it truly means to work with people, understand social realities, and take responsibility for the world around them.

This lab is built for young minds who want to unlearn, question, listen, and act.

For those who believe education is not just about careers, but about consciousness.

For those who don’t want to wait for change but be part of it.

Curated by the youth, for the youth.

If you’re ready to step out of comfort and into community, this is your space.

Apply by 6th Feb 2026.

Some of our earliest memories of love didn’t come with gifts. They came with a lap to rest on.
A hand on the head.
Someone waiting for us to finish our story.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re choosing that kind of love.
The kind that stays.
The kind that listens.

Aashro Aapno; when love feels like home.
