📢 Big News for Thathri!

The long-pending demand to upgrade Government Boys High School Thathri to Higher Secondary level has finally seen official support! ✅

Thanks to continuous efforts by social activists, support from Hon’ble MLA Mehraj Malik, and formal grievance follow-up by Chenab Times Foundation, the Chief Education Officer Doda has confirmed that the school deserves upgradation and has already submitted the report to higher authorities. 📄

We’ve now submitted an appeal to the Director of School Education Jammu requesting immediate permission to start Class 11 in Arts, Medical, Non-Medical, and Commerce streams as the academic session approaches.

This is a significant milestone for the students of Thathri and surrounding tehsils who have long struggled for access to higher secondary education locally.
