Traders Federation anguish over attack on Tourists in Pahalgam
-Fully supported the Jammu Bandh Call given by Hindu Organisations
Jammu : The Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market(Regd.) Jammu has expressed deep anguish over the attack on tourists in Pahalgam and strongly condemned this dastardly act of violence by Pak sponsored militants. In an urgent meeting of Office Bearers of Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market(Regd.) Jammu held today at Federation office, Sh. Deepak Gupta, President strongly condemned the cowardice terrorism act of firing by terrorists in Pahalgam. The Federation fully supported the Jammu Bandh Call for Wednesday given by Hindu Organisations. Deepak Gupta, on this occassion demanded that authorities investigate this gruesome attack on a fast track basis and ensure that the culprits are swiftly brought to justice. The Federation extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured tourists. The Federation has appealed to the authorities to provide the best possible medical treatment to all those affected. The Federation believes this targeted attack is clearly designed to harm Jammu and Kashmir's reputation and undermine the flourishing tourism industry. Such acts of violence go against the hospitable nature of Jammu and Kashmir's people who have always welcomed visitors with open arms. The Federatin reiterated its commitment to supporting all measures that ensure the safety and security of tourists visiting the Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, Deepak Gupta demanded to provide adequate security to the tourists stranded in Kashmir and said that Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is closed for the last two days. Due to this thousands of tourists are stranded there. Security should be provided to these tourists. Deepak Gupta said that these tourists should be immediately airlifted from Kashmir. A two minutes silence was observed to pay homage to the departed soul. Meeting also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured persons and also expressed sympathies with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. The other office bearers present in the meeting include Dheeraj Mahajan, Sr. Vc. President, Vishal Gupta, Vc. President, Abhimanyu Gupta, General Secretary, Rahul Gupta, Secretary and Nitish Gupta,Cashier of the Federation.
