Aanandam Society for Sustainable Development Aanandam as the name suggests has been founded with an objective to create harmony among different sections of the society to promote holistic growth.

Aanandam Society for Sustainable Development is the first of its kind not for profit social organization in East India based out of Bihar registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 in Bihar. The society will be committed to take initiatives and conduct activities:
-to promote awareness of the government schemes for the deserving people
-to bridge the gap between the village education and

urban education
-to liaise the talented students from small towns and villages with educated stalwarts in the society.
-to uplift the education standard through sustainable methods of knowledge sharing
-to promote small scale industries and enable self employment methods for the unemployed
-to increase awareness for law related information and empower women in the society to come forward to ensure inclusive development

Our Story

Aanandam was conceptualized in 2013 based on the rousing feedback its founding members received on the motivational talk series “Success Mantra” conducted in several Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities in 3 Indian states. Aanandam Society for Sustainable Development was finally formed in May 2017 when a group of aspiring professionals from Bihar(Abhijeet Anand, Nikhil Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, Gitesh Aanchal) met an aspiring couple in Jamalpur(Hari Om Mandal, Sharmila Kumari) to bring about change that they dreamt to see.
