Young man admired as he emerges with traditional comedy in Aweil
A young man named Chan Abuk Dhieu has become a talking point as he emerged with 'traditional comedy' in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
Contrary to the modern comedy style, Chan has brought a comedy, in which he acts traditional way of life, norms, and cultural practices.
Like any other style of comedy, Chan Abuk Dhieu explained that his comedy is meant to educate, entertain, and inspire others, bringing smiles and creating hope for them.
In most of his comedies, the rising comedy star Abuk Dhieu appears as a villager ,bushman, and cattle keeper who doesn't understand and appreciate life in the cities.
His comedy often tries to sort out the traditional dressing code to be much better than modern ones, for which many find happiness with unique performance.
Having performed on various occasions in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, Chan told Aweil News Agency on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, that he plans to extend his comedies to other places with consistent traditional entertainment.
This young, talented comedian hails from Aweil East County of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
