An estimated 170.000 children (under age 15) are living with HIV in India. Concerned about this issue, the NGO Rays Aasha Ki Ek Kiran was established in Jaipur, in 2010. The NGO was created because HIV+ kids are not accepted in regular orphanages since they need special attention and care. Rays started with three children and today we have more than 50 kids and 10 caretakers living with us. We hav
e two homes for HIV+ kids, where they get all the support needed for a healthy and happy life: education, medical aid, balanced meals, regular exercise and lots of love.
