Touch foundation believes that it is best for children to grow up in families and communities. Millions of children across the country have already lost the protection of their families and many more run the risk of falling apart from the protective care of their families because of a host of reasons described below. Poverty, disease, violence, natural disasters and armed conflicts mean that every

day there are more children who at risk of being abandoned, neglected and/or abused. Therefore, there is a great need to address these issues for better care and protection of children.
