Subject: Report regarding the establishment of a Help Booth and service to railway passengers at Ajmer Junction on the occasion of the 814th Urs Mela.
North Western Railway Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship, Ajmer Division,with the subject “Regarding installation of a Help Booth at Ajmer Junction due to the 814th Urs Mela.”as per its annual tradition, decided to establish a Help Booth at Ajmer Junction during the Urs Mela this year as well, for the purpose of serving railway passengers. In this connection, a site inspection was also conducted,On 24/12/2025, the office bearers and members of the North Western Railway Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship, Ajmer Division, formally and systematically commenced the service activities at the Help Booth at Ajmer Railway Station. On this occasion, the following office bearers and members were present: Shri Hemant Kumar, Shri Krishna Kumar Maurya, Smt. Meena Upadhya, Shri Gaurav Sen, shri Abhishek Gurjar, Shri Avishek mukharji, Shri Dinesh ji, and other members
During the service activities, the members provided proper guidance to railway passengers, including train-related information, platform details, entry–exit routes, and other necessary information, with the objective of making passengers’ journeys smooth and safe. The passengers visiting during the Urs Mela appreciated this service and expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the assistance provided through the Help Booth.
The North Western Railway Indian Scout and Guide Fellowship, Ajmer Division, will continue this service smoothly, efficiently, and in an organized manner from 24/12/2025.
