*Outcoming of the conciliation meeting dated 12-01-2026 on the agitation notice served by AIGBWO/OO(BMS)*
▶️Today, two rounds of discussions were held in the conciliation meeting at New Delhi under the mediation of Dy. CLC (Central) between management representatives including DFS officials, NABARD, Sponsor Bank, RRB officials, and union representatives on the strike notice served by AIGBWO/OO (BMS) on IPO and various other issues of RRB employees.
▶️*During the first round of discussion and the 3rd conciliation meeting held exclusively on IPO, the union raised serious concerns regarding the IPO of RRBs. Strong objections were also raised on the communication issued by DFS dated 12.12.2025. DFS representatives assured that they understand the objections and concerns raised by us and clarified that no decision has been taken on IPO. They further assured that any move in this regard will be taken only after due discussion with the unions.*
Based on the positive assurance received during the CLC meeting and also in the meeting with Shalini Pandit, Joint Secretary, RRB Section, DFS, we have decided to defer our strike to a future date. At the same time, we made it clear that any further move by DFS on IPO will compel us to proceed with our agitation, including the strike.
▶️*During the second round of discussion, as assured in the last meeting, NABARD filed a statement on compliance of pay and allowances by 28 RRBs as per the 12th Bipartite Settlement / 9th Joint Note (copy attached).*
However, we raised strong objections to the same and made it clear that many allowances shown as complied with have not actually been implemented in various RRBs. *Based on the strong objections raised by us, the CLC advised NABARD to take up the matter with concerned officials of Sponsor Banks, RRBs, and Union Representatives within 45 days for detailed discussion and analysis. NABARD was also directed to submit a report within 7 days to the CLC after completion of the exercise, with a copy marked to DFS. Discussions were also held on the upcoming HR Policy, Recruitment and Promotion Rules, regularisation of PTS/Casual Workers, etc.*
Our federation will continuously pursue all the above matters for speedy resolution.
