It has been founded in 2011, driven by the conviction that every citizen of India should have access to basic education and health care necessities. After many years of experience and contribution in various organizations, our team felt the need to form a new group and work under a new identity. The necessity for space and independence, in order to embrace innovative ways that can be beneficial fo
r the rural and urban people that are struggling with poverty, was what made us take this decision. GMF was instigated by a group of engaged professionals with a vision of a better quality of life for everyone. Within a short period of time we have expanded our impact and have provided our services in 3 states, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. We have been working successfully with the nation’s top corporate agency GAIL as well as with government departments. The Founders of GMF strongly support the belief that more advantaged people and groups with empathy for the deprived ones could and should provide their help so as to empower these less privileged groups, both technically and emotionally, giving them in that way the tools to overcome poverty. Gayatri was a simple woman full of love and compassion. She belonged to the lower middle class and has dedicated her life helping others in need. She has always been kind and generous not only to poor people but also to animals and thus she is a great inspiration for this foundation.
